ABSTRACT

Recent laboratory studies indicates that genes and brain development play a significant role in sexual orientation. The search for a biological roots of sexual orientation has run a long two broad lines. The first draws on observation of physical diferences between men's and women's brains; "gay" and "straight" brains may be  differentiated in curiously analogues fashion. The second approach is to scont ont genes by studying the patterns in which homosexuality occurs in families and by directiv examining the DNA.
